Mandatory Parent Meeting at Ashland

There will be a MANDATORY high school parent meeting immediately following the HS performance Saturday at Ashland to discuss State Finals. For those of you who are new, the association puts on the state finals, this is different than our qualifying rodeos. Therefore, we need assistance from everyone. Each family will be expected to sell at least one ad for the program or get a buckle sponsor or event sponsor for the finals. In addition, each family will either volunteer or be assigned a responsibility at state finals. We will need a lead parent for each activity and they will get the needed volunteers for their area. Examples needing lead parents and volunteers are the silent auction and ticket gate. We will go through the entire list at the meeting. It takes the entire organization to make state finals a success, please come willing to help out!

Hi! My naMadeline1.jpgme is Madeline Cuppy and I am your 2013-2014 Student President. I am a senior at Atlanta C-3 High School and I have lived in Atlanta, Missouri my whole life. I have been involved in High School Rodeo for the last three years and I compete in Barrel racing and Pole Bending. When I am not busy competing in rodeo, I also enjoy playing basketball and spending time with my friends. I feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to be Missouri High School’s Student President and hope that I can make many positive changes to our association.

My goal as Student President is to work with my student board to express what the members of MHSR really want. I also want to try to expand our association because I know firsthand how many lifelong friends you can make and how much you can learn by being part of our big rodeo family! I think our 2013-2014 season has been a huge success so far and hope that it only gets better from here! Best year Ever!!
